Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Dorchester woman and are appealing for the public’s help to find her.
Anna Szewczyk, 40 and originally from Poland, was last seen on Tuesday 20 October 2015 by neighbours in Meadow View, in the Charminster area of Dorchester.
She is described as white, five feet five inches tall, of medium build and with short, curly brown hair. She was last seen wearing beige trousers, white top and a black anorak with a fur trim.
Police Sergeant Ross Brown, of Dorset Police, said: “Anna has been missing for over a month with officers carrying out enquiries as to her whereabouts, and we are appealing to the public to help find her.
“We are particularly keen to trace Anna’s grey Mercedes A Class registration S599 DGC and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen it in recent weeks.
“I would urge anyone with information about where Anna or her car may be to call Dorset Police on 101. I would also ask members of the public to call us urgently if they see someone matching her description.
“If Anna sees this appeal please make contact with us to let us know that you are safe.”
