Drop-off point for Ukraine in Poole
A number of items are needed to help the people of Ukraine and they can be dropped off at Eva’s Café in Poole.
People who would like to donate to help the plight of people from Ukraine can take items to Eva’s Café in Poole’s Dolphin Centre.
Ewa Bednarcruk, owner of the cafe is working in partnership with Help from Bournemouth to Ukraine.
The unit will be taking donations from 8am–4pm Monday to Saturday. Items collected will be transported to Poland, where they will be donated at the Ukrainian border.
Items currently needed are: thermal blankets, sleeping bags; towels, pillows (all new or in very good, clean condition); hygiene essentials including feminine care products; adult medicine; first aid kits; flashlights and batteries; power banks; new Thermos flasks; heat retaining foil; emergency blankets; bandages; sterilising solutions and antiseptic products.
Eva’s Café is located at Poole Bus Station, situated on the right when exiting the Dolphin Centre.
