Elderly pedestrian seriously injured in Fordingbridge collision
If you were in the area of Belinda’s Bakery and Coffee House on Thursday 8 December and witnessed this please contact Hampshire Police.
Witnesses are sought for an accident in Fordingbridge High Street which has left an elderly woman with serious injuries.
The incident happened between 2.25pm and 2.35pm on Thursday 8 December outside Belinda’s Bakery and Coffee House and is thought to have involved a light coloured 4×4 vehicle.
The 91-year-old woman from Salisbury was taken to hospital where she remains.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or may have seen a 4×4 vehicle being driven around this area around this time. They would also like to hear from anyone who saw an elderly pedestrian walking prior to the incident and of course anyone who may have dash-cam footage to aid their investigation.
The road was not closed by police, but ambulance were at the scene until around 4pm.
