Electric bike stolen in Poole
Police are hoping someone might have been a witness to the burglary or might have been offered the bike for sale.
Dorset Police are hoping someone will have information following the theft of an electric bike in Poole.
They receive a report at around 9.35pm on Thursday 6 January of a break-in at a property in Beacon Hill.
A black electric bike – with a carbon frame, 29-inch wheels and forked suspension – was stolen.
Officers attended and carried out a search of the area, but nobody was located.
Police Constable Samuel Kinsella, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity around the relevant time to please get in touch.
“I would also like to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the vicinity or residents with home CCTV systems that may have captured any footage of interest to my enquiries.
“Finally, if you have seen an electric bike matching the description or image for sale locally in unusual circumstances, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/do-it-online, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55220002872.
