Elves to race at Branksome Dene Chine
The Elf Dash is being held at Branksome Dene Chine this Saturday 3 December to raise funds for a children’s centre.
There could be a lot of elves at Branksome Dene Chine this Saturday 3 December, as an event is being held to raise funds to support children.
University Hospitals Dorset charity is holding an Elf Dash supporting projects such as the Child Development Centre (CDC) playground appeal, creating a valuable space for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and long stay inpatients.
The CDC offers a multi professional approach to the assessment and treatment of pre-school children with a variety of developmental needs within Poole, Bournemouth and beyond. The team offers a family focused service that provides a safe and child friendly environment, and developmental play specialists work with families to plan and deliver care which will enable their children to fulfil their potential.
Coles Miller is the Gold sponsor of Elf Dash and Nick Balchin, marketing director, said: “The Elf Dash is a fantastic fun event to get everyone into the Christmas spirit while enjoying the beautiful beach at Branksome. We’re very grateful for this opportunity to help the NHS, and to say ‘thank you’ in a tangible way that benefits local people. We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to the NHS, especially after what’s happened over the last two years. The NHS continues to face huge pressures, so we all need to help them – they’re always there for us.”
Ticket prices are £12 for adults, £8 for children (including Santa visit and gift), or £35 for a family ticket (two adults and up to three children.)
