From Frankenstein to Fanny Cradock, a royal mistress and even Mr Selfridge, the “Romance and Scandal in Bournemouth” walking talks are sure to entertain. Lead by tour guide and local historian Hattie Miles, these circular guided walks provide a tantalising journey that spills the beans regarding tales that have shocked, scandalised, enchanted and amused the town’s residents over the years.
The walking talks start from outside the appropriately named Flirt café/bar next to Bournemouth Library in the Triangle, and take place on Wednesday evenings, 1 and 8 July starting at 6.30pm and on Sunday morning 5 July starting at 10.45am. The cost is £6 (£5 for over sixties and students).
