Explore RSPB Arne’s 12 Days of Christmas Trail
Families are invited to explore the nature reserve, discover the 12 Days of Christmas and spot the missing reindeer at RSPB Arne.
RSPB Arne’s ‘12 Days of Christmas Trail’ is a fantastic way for children to enjoy being out in nature and to enjoy the countdown to Christmas.
RSPB Arne visitor experience officer, Samantha Dallimore, said, “Winter is a wonderful time to visit RSPB Arne. Come along and explore the wild woods in search of Arne’s 12 Days of Christmas and some missing reindeer. Collect a Christmas trail leaflet (and a small prize!) from the welcome area and follow our self-guided trail. You can even pick-up a sustainable Arne Christmas tree for your living room or garden while you’re here, (for between £15 and £25) and help our heathland wildlife thrive.”
Samantha added, “We are really happy to be back offering COVID-secure events at RSPB Arne. Our Dumbledore trail and Wild Play Area are currently closed, but all other trails are open, as well as our shop, with gifts for nature lovers of all ages and our café for a warming takeaway gingerbread latte and festive treats! There will be hand sanitiser available at our Welcome Area and we ask that everyone follows all COVID-19 government guidance during your visit. We can’t wait to have you back – don’t forget your wellies and festive hat!”
The ‘12 Days of Christmas Trail’ will be running from Saturday 5 December to Sunday 3 January at RSPB Arne, Wareham from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Cost £2.50 per child. Booking is not required.
