John Davis who has been responsible for the production of Wimborne Minster’s parish magazine ‘PRINT’ for the last twenty years has retired.
John took over the production of PRINT with his wife Connie in December 1992. With a small publication team, they produced the monthly magazine. Connie died in October 2007, but John continued to produce the publication very much on his own. He relied on members of the congregation and beyond to feed him the information for PRINT each month.
At the close of the Parish Eucharist in the Minster on Sunday, the Rector, the Reverend Vanessa Herrick paid tribute to John for his faithful service over the last 20 years and presented him with a book token on behalf of the whole congregation.
For the next few months Rosalind Jensen, former churchwarden has kindly agreed to keep PRINT going, pending the setting up of a new publications team.
