The collision took place on Saturday 13 December on the B3078 near the junction of Lumber Lane in Knowlton.
The families of the two men from Poole who died in a collision on Saturday 13 December on the B3078 near the junction of Lumber Lane in Knowlton have paid tribute to them.
Dorset Police received a report of the collision, which was believed to involve two vehicles – a black Audi A4 and a blue Volkswagen T-Roc – at 6.05pm.
Emergency services attended and, very sadly, the drivers of both vehicles – Robbie Kenneth Williams, also known as Robbie Diffey, 24, and Peter D’Arcy, 57 – were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Robbie’s family said: “Robbie Kenneth Williams (Diffey), our beautiful, loving, caring, funny, mischievous boy.
“We promise to look after both your baby girls. You’ve left a huge hole in all our hearts. We will forever and always love and miss you.”
The family of Peter D’Arcy said in a statement: “Dad was 57 years old and taken from us far too soon.
“He leaves behind his three children, Kyle, Lucy and Jack, as well as his partner Tara and her two daughters, whom he loved deeply.
“He was a strong, devoted family man and will be greatly missed, forever loved and always remembered by all who knew him.”
Anyone who has information about the collision or dashcam footage is asked to make contact online via the Dorset Police website or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250183191.
