The family of missing Dorchester man Louis Harris are appealing to the public to help find him.
Louis Harris, 18, went missing in Weymouth after a night out with friends. He was last seen at 4.30am on Sunday 14 February 2016 outside the Harbour Master’s Office, on Custom House Quay.
Louis is white, about five feet ten inches tall and of slim build. He has brown short hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue and white zipped hooded Lacoste top, a mainly white Fat Face checked shirt with a blue and red checked pattern, blue jeans and Vans shoes.
In a statement, his parents said: “Louis is a wonderful son, much loved by family and friends. He had just returned from university and was celebrating a friend’s birthday in Weymouth when he disappeared.
“We are desperate for any news of Louis and ask that anyone who has any information regarding the evening, or Louis’ whereabouts, to contact Dorset Police immediately on 101.
“We are sincerely grateful to the local community, friends and family for their tremendous support and help with searching for Louis.
“We would ask everyone to remain vigilant to potential sightings, as we continue in the search for our dearly loved and much missed son Louis.”
Officers have conducted a number of searches around Weymouth town centre, harbour and seafront since Louis went missing. Divers have also carried out underwater searches in Weymouth harbour. These searches have now concluded, but enquiries are still continuing into Louis’ whereabouts.
