Family festival returns to Wimborne
The event will take place over Julian’s Bridge from Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June and this year has longer hours and reduced ticket prices.

A festival held in Wimborne is expanding its hours of operation and reducing ticket prices.
Family Fest returns to The Meadows field just over Julian’s Bridge on Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June. There will be live music, entertainment and a variety of attractions carrying on until 9pm on the Friday and Saturday night.
The organisers have decided to reduce the entrance fee with standard children’s tickets £5 and adults £8.
Sited on 12-acres of working farmland, Family Fest offers on-site camping as well as shuttle bus services, courtesy of Burrows Coaches, from Wimborne Square to the festival site. There’s also a special bus service from Blandford. People are encouraged to use public transport, bicycle or walk to the festival as part of Family Fest’s commitment to a sustainable eco event.
Headliners this year include the UK’s leading Rudimental tribute band Rudimentalists on Friday and 80s and 90s cover sensation Yazadi on Saturday.
The festival supports local charity The Cherry Tree Nursery which offers rehabilitation through horticulture. Over the past four years, it has donated £4,000 to the nursery in Bournemouth.
Wimborne BID (Business Improvement District) has supported Family Fest since it set up in Wimborne four years ago.
