Family fun at Ferndown Fete on the Field on 21 June
Starting at 11am the Fete on the Field will be officially opened by the mayor and town crier and if the heatwave persists make sure you take a hat.

On 21 June from 11am you can look forward Verwood Concert Brass, local school choirs singing, Urban Cycles Display Team at 12.15pm, Waggy Tails dog show from 1pm, Krazy Kev at 1.30pm and 5pm, O’Leary Dancers at 1pm on the stage, Liberty’s Raptor show at 2.30pm and 4.15pm, The Fire Service and Dorset Police, Coles Fun Fair, amusements and Classic & Custom Car show. Charlotte sings at 5.30pm. Free programmes are available at retail outlets in the town and should be available on the day. Entry to the event is also free.
All this and more alongside a large quantity of stalls selling their wares, food, drink, ice creams, and there will be things to do at fundraising charity stalls.
Organised by Ferndown and Parley Rotary Club, the Fete on the Field always includes a superb raffle of a wheelbarrow full of bottles with the wheelbarrow included. You’ll find it hard to say “no” when the ‘enforcers’ wheel up. Last year their efforts raised £1,225 for local charities including the foodbank.
Remember to wear sunscreen and a hat if this weather holds. Best of all, this event offers FREE entry, so bring your loose change to spend at the fete.
Fete on the Field in Ferndown will take place this Saturday, 21 June from 11am.
