Award-winning Enrique Perez from Cuba is bringing a touch of spice to Ashley Cross with the inaugural Salsa Night at Patrick’s Restaurant, Bar and Event Catering on Thursday September 12.
The popular Poole venue is offering a three course meal and a night of salsa lessons for just £20.
With more than 25 years’ experience, Enrique is a highly respected salsa teacher with numerous salsa competitions under his belt and has performed at some of the country’s top salsa dance festivals and events.
Lizzi Briscoe, manager of Patrick’s, said: “We are excited to be teaming up with the talented Enrique for our inaugural Salsa Night this month. With his passionate Latin spirit, Enrique is sure to set the south coast on fire as he teaches our guests the sexy moves of salsa. We will have the whole of Ashley Cross up and dancing all night long.”
Originating from Cuba in the 1920s, salsa dancing is a heady mix of Africa, Latin and North American rhythms with the exciting footwork, spins and twists of Latin dancing. From beginners to professionals, Enrique can teach a range of levels so the Salsa Night is open to dancers of all abilities.
