Farnborough pupils sing in Dorset
Farnborough Hill Senior School Choir sang in Wimborne, the Purbecks and Sherborne whilst staying at Canford School.
Pupils from Farnborough Hill Senior School Choir were in Dorset last weekend.
They sang in St James’ Church at Kingston on the Purbecks on the Saturday and on the Sunday at the services in Wimborne Minster.
They were under the school’s director of music Ian Taylor, accompanied by the school’s music teacher Lucy Warwick whose father is tower captain at the Minster and a former director of music at Canford School. David accompanied the choir on the Minster’s organ for the services.
On the Monday they gave a lunchtime recital in Sherborne Abbey.
Farnborough Hill School was founded in 1889 and is a leading Catholic independent day school for around 565 girls aged 11 – 18 years.
During their weekend visit to Dorset they stayed at Canford School.
