Ferndown land to be auctioned
Nearly 7.5 acres of freehold land, which is at Tricketts Cross and bordered by the Moors River, is to be auctioned in the run up to Christmas.
The plot of land in Ferndown is to be auctioned in December with a guide price of £120,000 plus.
The freehold site at Thames Close is among 126 lots being offered by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson across southern England.
Rob Marchant, the Dorset and Hampshire auctioneer for Clive Emson, said: “This parcel of land at Tricketts Cross is bordered by the Moors River to the north and Thames Close to the south.
“A portion of the land fronting Thames Close has previously been used for grazing but this was some years ago and the site has become overgrown. Part of the site, bordering the river, is included in a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
“There are twin access points from Thames Close via metal access gates although one of these access points, on the south-western corner of the site, is at present overgrown.
“The site may be suitable for a number of future uses, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.”
Bidding is live from Monday, 13 December and ends on Wednesday, 15 December.
