Singing students from Studio One (Dorset’s Centre for Performing Arts), Ferndown, have recently released a Christmas single – ‘Love From Home’ – to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity.
The single was written for the 14 strong children’s choir by local song-writing team Dave Thomas and ex-paratrooper Luke Turner and was recorded at the Absolute Music Studios in Bournemouth.
It was released in conjunction with a beautifully filmed YouTube video of the girls on the day of the recording.
The song is now readily available from iTunes with each download raising 79 pence for the Help for Heroes charity.
Studio One Principal Denise Booth said: “This has been a marvellous opportunity and a privilege for the girls and they have loved every minute.
They’ve all worked really hard on this project, as well as preparing for their own dance and singing examinations and also a charity show with their fellow students which raised in excess of £2,500 for Julia’s House. I am extremely proud of them all.”
Love From Home – the new single from the Studio One Children’s Choir in aid of Help for Heroes. Available to download through itunes and all other major digital stores very soon.
