A festival of history, philosophy, and literature will be hosted by the 12th Earl of Shaftesbury on Saturday 25 July at St. Giles House, Wimborne St. Giles.
Join eminent thought leaders in the worlds of philosophy, history and literature at St. Giles House, the home of influential political, philosophical and social thinkers since the 17th century. Discover how the debates from the time of the first and third Earls of Shaftesbury are still relevant in today’s society.
The festival is presented in partnership with Bath Spa University and will run from 9am to 5pm. You can book your ticket for £18, which includes a full schedule of round table discussions and a guided tour of St. Giles House, park and gardens, by calling the Shaftesbury Estate office on 01725 517214, or visiting their website at www.shaftesburyestates.com.
