BCHA has announced details of its free annual Festival of Wellbeing, which will be taking place on Friday 5 August in Boscombe Gardens.
The local housing and social care support provider, which helps homeless, vulnerable and other people to access the right housing, health, learning and work opportunities, has collaborated with partner organisations to offer activities such as life-music, art, street theatre, dance, face-painting, a bouncy castle, live music and fun for individuals and families.
Jamie Clarke, Ignite Lead Development Coach at BCHA, explains, “This will be a great chance to find out more of what local support and wellbeing services are available in and around the Bournemouth and Boscombe area, as well as celebrate the successes of previous and current customers.
BCHA’s own Ignite Programme focuses on supporting people to find greater self-belief, break free from benefit support, get back in to work and live life.
Ignite offer a range of workshops for people to choose from, which are all tailored to build someone’s self-esteem and confidence, and to support people to achieve their goals.”
The event will run from 1 – 4pm and entry is free. For more details visit www.facebook.com/bcha.org.uk, and for general information, visit www.bcha.org.uk.
