Festive singing is a delight

Verwood residents have been delighted by the festive singing of the Key Stage 2 children of Hillside Community First School. The whole year group travelled to Meadow Court extra care housing, where they sang traditional carols, as well as a selection of their Christmas performance songs. The school’s choir have also visited Morrisons supermarket, the Verwood 50 Plus Forum and the Day Centre, getting toes tapping and spreading good cheer. The children particularly enjoyed singing at the Day Centre, where everyone supported them enthusiastically, joining in with the familiar Christmas songs.
