Fire at Dudsbury Golf Club is suspected arson
Following the fire which destroyed the clubhouse, Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage to come forward.

The massive fire which destroyed Dudsbury Golf Club on Friday 20 June is believed to be arson.
Having received a report of the fire at around 6.10pm, Dorset Police officers attended to assist the fire service. Around 40 firefighters were called to tackle the blaze.
No arrests have been made.
Police Constable Emma Davey, of Ferndown police, said: “We have liaised with colleagues from the fire service and the current assessment is that this fire was not started accidentally.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area at the relevant time to please come forward.
“Also, I am keen to hear from nearby residents with doorbell or CCTV cameras, as well as motorists with dashcam who were driving in the area of Christchurch Road at the time of the incident, who may have captured relevant footage that might assist our investigation.”
Dudsbury Golf Club closed in early 2024. The land around the golf club has been earmarked by the council for the development of 700 new homes.
