The first memorial plaque has been placed on a bench at Ferrett Green in Verwood.
The plaque is in memory of Judy Martin. Mrs Martin’s children Kelly Inge and Richard Martin said that as a family, they moved to the town in 1981 and their Mum loved Verwood and enjoyed being part of the community. They wanted a memorial to her and felt that Ferrett Green was the ideal place.
