Wimborne Folk Festival takes place on 7-9 June. Thousands of people descend on the Dorset market town of Wimborne Minster for this spectacular event. Street dancing, music, stalls, workshops and children’s entertainment. Great fun for all the family. Huge procession of dancers on 8 June.
Roads closed to traffic are East Borough, The Square, High Street, Church Street, West Row, Corn Market and Cook Row from 6.30pm on 7 June until 6.30pm on 9 June. Also part of Leigh Road will be closed on 8 June for the procession to assemble (1.30-3.30pm) and Park Lane and East Street between 2.30-3.30pm for the procession to the Square.
