Forest Holme Tree of Remembrance and Christmas shop at Poole’s Dolphin Centre
Shoppers can support the hospice by dedicating a star on a tree of memory or visiting the pop-up shop in the centre.
You can support Forest Holme this Christmas by visiting The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole.
The hospice charity’s Tree of Remembrance is outside Marks & Spencer and from Monday 6 until Saturday 18 December, shoppers will be able dedicate a ‘Light up a Life’ star on the tree in memory of a loved one, whether they were cared for by the hospice or not, in exchange for a donation towards the charity.
In addition, during the same period the charity will be selling Christmas cards, merchandise, decorations, stocking fillers and much for in a pop-up shop in the Eco Hub opposite Wilkos on the 1st floor of the shopping centre.
There will also be a range of handcrafted items made by the Forest Holme Craft group, with all proceeds going towards supporting the provision of end of life care and support to more than 1,000 local people each year with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses across Poole, Wimborne and Isle of Purbeck.
Kirsty Perks, fundraiser at Forest Holme, said: “We are delighted to have our tree and shop returning and we are so grateful to our charity partners at The Dolphin Shopping Centre for all their help and support. Like many charities, 2021 has been a very challenging year for fundraising, so we’re so grateful to have this opportunity and look forward to seeing many familiar and new faces visiting us.”
Both the Forest Holme Christmas Shop and Tree of Remembrance will be open daily from 9.30am–4pm (excluding Sundays) from Monday 6 until Saturday 18 December.
