A Bournemouth eyesore is to be redeveloped by Juno and Bayview Developments in conjunction with Anders Roberts Cheer architects.
The former David Lloyed Leisure Centre was demolished years ago after the sports facilty became run down. The site had a chequered planning history with many refusals before this new application was approved.
Juno and Bayview specialise in developing Brownfield sites therefore easing pressure on Greenfield sites.
The scheme in the heart of the Conservation Area will comprise 74 apartments in a Victorian Conservation style which will lift the immediate area and generally help toward the regeneration of Boscombe. As part of the negotiations Juno and Bayview will be contributing £256,000 through the S106 to public open space.
