Former editor of Dorset View is on the bookshelf once again
Since retiring from Dorset View, Janine Pulford has gone into print again. ‘Paws in the Flood’, her dog detective novel, was released on 5 December.
With six novels already on the bookshelf, the former editor of Dorset View and Viewpoint for more than 20 years is celebrating her seventh published work of fiction, ‘Paws in the Flood’.
“It’s a whodunnit with a difference,” explained Janine Pulford. “Set in the fictional village of Chiddle-pon-Piddle in rural Dorset, it’s all in a dog’s viewpoint. If you love dogs, you will love this story.”
Aimed at an audience aged from 9 to 99, this cosy crime will make you laugh and maybe cry a little.
When Max Nowza’s lead-meister, Adorable, is arrested for a crime she didn’t commit, it falls on Max’s four paws to solve the mystery. Meet his chumdogs as he recounts events that led up to the crime, revealing an impressive list of dog-walking suspects. There’s even a glossary included of words used in the dog world, so you know what the pooches are yapping about.
See if you can spot the clues as Max Nowza the schnauzer sniffs them out.
This dog detective with a nose for justice will live in your memory long after you put the book down. Barky joy!
‘Paws in the Flood’ by Janine Pulford is available in paperback from Amazon. ISBN No 978-0955502255.
