Four teenagers arrested following electric unicycle theft in Bournemouth
In addition to the unicycle, a mobile phone and a wallet were also allegedly stolen from the man on Wednesday 16 June.
A Bournemouth man was riding an electric unicycle at the Pier Approach near to the crazy golf on Wednesday 16 June at around 12.30am when he was approached by a group of teenage boys.
The group reportedly asked to ride the unicycle, but the victim refused and he was subsequently assaulted.
When the victim woke up on the ground, he discovered his unicycle, mobile phone and wallet had been allegedly stolen.
The electric unicycle is described as a New InMotion with 1500Wh battery, 2200 Motor and pedal suspension.
Two boys from Bournemouth, aged 16 and 17, and two boys from Christchurch, aged 15 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Karen Penn, of the Priority Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please get in touch.
“I am also particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen an electric unicycle for sale locally matching the description given.”
