Local children from the Heatherlands taking part in the community litter pick
Part two of ‘Love where you live’ on the Heatherlands Estate in Ferndown started with a community litter pick. Around 60 Children, 15 Adults, the Mayor of Ferndown, several town councillors and a large team from Ferndown’s McDonald’s Restaurant came along to help.
Heatherlands Manager John Hanrahan said, “It was a great day and a big thank you goes to the following people who made it all happen: PC Julian Humphries and his team of PCSO’s, Ferndown Town Council, Synergy Housing, Heatherlands PACT, NHW, EDDC and McDonald’s Restaurant who also provided a free lunch to all who took part in keeping our community clean and tidy.”
