Britons are due to meet Bretons as French market traders arrive in Victoria Road, Ferndown on Friday 25 July for three days in a splash of French and continental colour, cuisine and joie de vivre.
Ferndown French Market and Friends, organised by international market event operators Savoir Fayre Ltd, is visiting the town for the first time, and will be packed to bursting with authentic, top quality and mouthwatering delicacies, brought to you by experienced and fully accredited French and continental market traders. This market really is a unique and special experience for British shoppers, with all the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of an authentic French market transported to an English town centre.
Be amazed by the variety and quality of the goods on display and the deliciously enticing aromas of the freshly baked French bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, baklava, cakes, sweets and gateaux.
Visitors will also be able to sample from a wide range of tempting savoury goodies including finest French cheeses, condiments and charcuterie, tartiflette, Toulouse and merguez sausage, couscous, paella, prawnies, breton Galette, Spanish paella and Moroccan couscous.
