The members of Wimborne Drama theatre company have kindly made a £1000 donation to Lewis-Manning Hospice, who support local people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. The cast and crew, who are starting rehearsals for their July production of Cash On Delivery welcomed Sara Johnson, Community Fundraiser for the hospice, to their meeting last week to present the cheque.
Sara said, “We are so thrilled to have received this donation from Wimborne Drama. It was lovely to meet the members last night and to hear some of their personal links to Lewis-Manning and hospice care in general. Support from our community is invaluable to us and we are so thankful. We look forward to seeing their next show in July!”
Cash On Delivery is a farce by Michael Cooney and will be at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne from 3rd – 5th at 7.30pm, with a Saturday 2.30pm matinee, too.
