Waggy Tails the Dorset animal charity is looking for a home for this furry couple. The chinchilla and rabbit are inseparable and need to be housed together. The charity can supply a hutch to the new foster family.
Other small animals rescued recently by Waggy Tails include rats, rabbits and guinea pigs and these are in addition to the many dogs that are seeking new foster families.
Home checkers and foster parents are urgently required. The charity is also looking for clever, nimble fingers to make dog beds out of donated duvets. These need cutting into four, so if you have a few hours free do get in touch.
Waggy Tails’ annual dog show takes place on 15 June 2013 on King George V Playing Field, Ferndown.
Presentation days are held on the first Saturday of the month at 9.45am at West Parley Memorial Hall, Christchurch Road, West Parley near Hurn Airport where you can meet the animals. Talks are also given to schools and groups. The charity has recently moved its offices to Helen’s House, the safe house at Bear Cross. The telephone number is the same. Do get in touch if you can help with any of the above. Tel 01202 875000.
I would like to give a rabbit a home and will get in touch with Waggy Tails.
