Further arrests following Bournemouth stabbing
A man who was stabbed following a fight in St Peter’s Road, Bournemouth on Wednesday 22 June, received serious injuries.
There have been two more arrests following a stabbing in Bournemouth on Wednesday 22 June.
Dorset Police received a report at 10.26pm that a man had sustained a stab wound following an altercation in St Peter’s Road.
Officers attended the scene and the injured man was taken to hospital by air ambulance. His injuries were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
Following enquiries, a 25-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested and subsequently charged with wounding with intent. He is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday 25 July.
A 21-year-old man from London who was arrested on suspicion of affray has been released from the investigation and will face no further police action.
A 19-year-old local man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder was released under investigation.
Following further enquiries, a 27-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and he has been released on police bail. A 23-year-old Bournemouth man was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
