Game on in Verwood

Official opening of MUGA (multi use games area) on Verwood Recreation Ground took place at 11am today (4.5.2013). Angela Daymond said, “Thank you Verwood for believing in us.” The Mayor, Cllr Simon Gibson said, “It is a triumph of persistence, a triumph of community spirit and a triumph of hard work.” Pivotal figures were Angela Daymond, Lyn Ledger, Jean Hazel, Earnest and Marilyn Whatmore and Simon Gibson.
