The rush is on to enter one of the county’s most popular events – the Ferndown Rotary Charity Run being staged on 17 March at the Avon Heath Country Park.
As in previous years, there are three races – at 10.30am a 2.5km race for runners up to 12-years-old, followed by five and 10km races for those 13-years-old and over.

Winners and places get a trophy; all runners get a medal.
All proceeds will be used to support Rotary youth activities.
