In February, local disability charity Diverse Abilities Plus, is hosting two events entitled ‘Gift for Life’ to benefit parents and carers of children with disabilities of any age. The sessions are in conjunction with legal firm Rawlins Davy, and will provide advice and information on writing a Will and lasting powers of attorney, helping families ensure that their loved ones are provided for in the future.
The sessions will take place on Tuesday, 5 February at 1.30pm at Langside School, Poole and Wednesday, 20 February at 5.30pm at Barnabas, 13 – 15 Manor Avenue, Poole. The sessions will last approximately two hours.
Helen Mortimer, from Diverse Abilities Plus, said, “The Gift for Life events will provide advice on topics that are potentially important to everyone in the future. We hope that many families and carers in Dorset come along and join us for this event, enjoy a relaxed drink and cake while listening to experienced speakers.”
