Mark Gamble continues to prove himself a vital goal-grabber for Wimborne Town after netting three times in two pre-season friendly victories last week.
Last Tuesday, with the Magpies 2-1 up against AFC Bournemouth Youth, Gamble added a third in the dying minutes with the goal of the game.
Then on Saturday, he scored either side of half-time as Wimborne ran out 3-0 winners at Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
The encounter at Bemerton was a crucial one for Jon Blake as he continues his recovery from a knee injury picked up in the final game of last season. Blake has been gradually increasing his playing time and completed 60 minutes in the game.
This Friday (2 August) Wimborne renew their rivalry with Poole Town when the two sides meet at Cuthbury, kick off 7.45pm.
The next day the Magpies travel to Gillingham Town, in a 3pm kick off. Then on Tuesday (6 August) they return to Cuthbury for their penultimate pre-season friendly, Bridport providing the opposition.
