Good Samaritans appeal following Bournemouth sexual assault
The police are hoping the two women who assisted the victim of a reported assault in Bournemouth will come forward.
Dorset Police are appealing for two female Good Samaritans to come forward following the report of a sexual assault in Bournemouth.
A woman in her 20s had been out drinking with friends in the town when she was left on her own at around 2am on Tuesday 10 August.
Some time later the victim woke up on the ground in an unknown location in the town and was assisted by two women who helped her into a taxi.
It was subsequently reported that the victim had been possibly sexually assaulted between 2am and when she was located.
Detective Constable Phillip Riggs, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to support the victim and are carrying out a number of enquiries to establish exactly what happened.
“I would urge the two women who helped the victim to please come forward and contact Dorset Police as you may have important information to assist our investigation.”
