The flag designates that Christchurch Quay has met the national quality standard for parks and green spaces.
The judges for the Green Flag award assess the sites against eight strict criteria, including horticultural standards, cleanliness, sustainability and community involvement.
Cllr Lesley Dedman, Mayor of Christchurch, said, “I’m pleased to see that Christchurch Quay has once again been recognised in this prestigious award issued by Keep Britain Tidy. Green spaces really matter to residents and it is so important that these areas are maintained and protected for future generations.
“Christchurch Quay is a fantastic open space and on a sunny day, like today, it is truly idyllic. We should be incredibly proud of this special asset and this flag represents the hard work and dedication of our officers and volunteers.”
