A special woodland grotto has been created at Moors Valley Country Park to host free readings of the children’s classic story,’ The Gruffalo’s Child’.
The Rangers have opened the winter wonderland upstairs in the Park’s Visitor Centre to complement the newly-installed Gruffalo’s Child Trail which leads families out into the forest for a series of outdoor activities. A large Gruffalo carving marks the start of the trail.
The Gruffalo’s Child readings are free-of-charge and take place at 10.15am every Monday and Wednesday until 17 December. There is no need to book.
