Following a two day cooking demonstration by the Heatherlands Centre and Synergy Housing in Ferndown on 23 and 24 October, around 30 local people booked on a 6-week cooking course. It will finish with a community Christmas lunch prepared by the students at the Heatherlands Centre on 20 December.
A large food hamper and several kitchen appliances were also donated by Sue Blundell from Sainsbury’s Store in Ferndown.
