Help find Wimborne’s missing Griffin

A much cherished original photograph that used to hang in the reception area of the old Griffin Hotel, adjacent to Wimborne Station, has disappeared from its perch in the railway room at Wimborne Model Town. Development Manager, Greg Hoar, said: “The donated picture dates from 1929 and shows the licensees of the time with their horse drawn transport.  Clearly of local historical importance, Wimborne Model Town wishes its safe return as soon as possible.”  The charity attraction which is can be contacted on 01202 881924 with any information.
