Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing woman from Weymouth.
Victoria West, aged 27, was last seen at her home address along Canberra Road approximately two weeks ago but was reported missing yesterday (30 September).
Victoria was due to move into her mother’s house but the alarm was raised after she failed to turn up and could not be contacted. A search of her home address found it to be left insecure but her car, laptop, mobile phone and money was missing. Although she was last seen some time ago she has been in email contact, with the last email being received on Monday 29 September.
Detective Constable Declan Cummings, of Weymouth CID, said: “Concern is increasing for Victoria as we believe that she has been upset recently.
“A thorough search has been carried out in the local area and all of our enquiries have failed to locate her.
“We are now becoming very worried for Victoria and I urge her to get in touch as soon as possible – we simply need to know that she is safe and well.”
Victoria is described as white, around four feet eleven inches tall and of small build. She has brown shoulder length hair, which may be shorter now, hazel coloured eyes and a one inch scar on the bottom of her chin.
She usually wears green or grey coloured jogging bottoms, a white T-shirt with a lace collar on the front, a watch worn around her neck on a knitted chain and dangly earrings.
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Victoria’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 30:404.
