Highcliffe music festival organisers appeal for sponsors
The team behind the Cliff Top Music Festival needs community and business support if the event is to go ahead in 2025.
The organisers of the popular Cliff Top Music Festival have issued a call for sponsors to ensure the event can go ahead in 2025.
The celebration of 70s music in Highcliffe was first held in 2023 and again on 7 September last year. As well as live music, children’s entertainment and stalls, the event encourages participants to dress to impress in their best retro outfits.
However, the price to run the event is steep and the organisers have warned the event is at risk of not going ahead this year without local support.
Writing on Facebook, a spokesperson for the organisers said: “The costs to host this fantastic event total £31,000, and while ticket sales are a key part of funding, they’re not enough on their own. We need community and business support to bridge the gap.”
Some ways to support the event include donating services, such as businesses providing fencing, staffing, or toilets, or sponsoring a band or a block of tickets.
“Whether it’s goods, skills, or time, every bit of support helps bring our festival to life,” the organisers said. “The festival deadline is the end of January, and we’re calling on everyone who loves this event to step forward and be part of the solution. Let’s show what our amazing community can do!”
