To raise awareness of World Down’s Syndrome Day on Thursday 21 March the children in Hillside Community First School, Verwood were encouraged to come to school wearing brightly coloured socks, mismatched socks and even 3 socks for 3 chromosomes.
Great fun was had admiring the colourful spectacle and a special whole school assembly to explain about the condition was held.
