Incident involving a knife in Ferndown
If you saw a man with a knife on Ferndown Industrial Estate on 8 June, Dorset Police would like to speak to you.
Anyone who saw a man in possession of a knife in the Cobham Road area of Ferndown Industrial Estate on Wednesday 8 June, or who has information, is asked to come forward.
It was reported that, at around 4pm on Wednesday 8 June 2022, a man was seen making threats with a knife in the Cobham Road area of Ferndown Industrial estate.
A 53-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife in a public place and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police Constable Neil Gauden, of Dorset police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident and I am now appealing for anyone who saw what happened to please contact us.
“At this time of day, I am aware there were other people on the industrial estate who may have witnessed this incident and not spoken to us yet.
“I would urge anyone with information that might assist this investigation to get in touch.”
