It’s fireworks time for Poole
The event had been postponed but will now take place every Thursday from 29 July up until and including 2 September.
Fireworks will soon be lighting up the sky in Poole and the surrounding area.
New dates have been announced for this year’s CityFibre Poole Quay summer events.
Two minutes of bright green fireworks will mark the beginning of the popular event, which will take place every Thursday from 29 July up until and including 2 September.
There will also be free live music, family fun and entertainment.
There will be a range of themed nights as part of the entertainment, including American, Asian, Carnival, Pirates and Nautical. This latest event forms part of the Festival Coast Live! programme of outdoor activities and events celebrating community, talent, and performance.
Cllr Beverley Dunlop, lead member for Cultural Events, Festival Coast Live! and Bournemouth Regeneration, said: “Following the most recent Government announcement, we’ve delayed the start of the CityFibre Poole Quay Summer Fireworks by one week so that we can deliver the full experience, safely.
“Everyone involved in organising this year’s events has gone above and beyond to ensure that residents and visitors can enjoy world-class outdoor entertainment, in line with ongoing government guidelines. We’re really looking forward to hosting this exciting and popular event in this beautiful location.”
