Jail for drug dealer caught in Boscombe
Rico Walker, who was leaving an address when he was apprehended by Dorset Police officers, has been jailed for four years.
A drug dealer who was apprehended in the street on Thursday 23 February 2023 has been jailed for four years.
Rico Walker, 45, of no fixed abode, was stopped by officers as he left an address in Sea Road. He was wearing a glove, and inside the glove officers found several wraps of class A drugs.
A subsequent search of his property also led to more drugs being found, including crack cocaine and heroin, with a total estimated value of more than £15,000.
Following a detailed investigation by officers, Walker was charged with possessing class A drugs with intent to supply. He admitted the offences and was sentenced on Friday 23 January 2026.
Sergeant David Carmichael, of Bournemouth Police, said: “We know from engagement with our communities that the supply of illegal drugs and related activity can have a significant detrimental impact.
“We are committed to acting on information we receive and bringing those involved in the supply of drugs to justice.
