Jazz returns to Allendale Centre in Wimborne
Back at the Allendale - Swing Unlimited Big Band’s jazz concert raised more than £1,270 for local charities.
After an enforced absence due to COVID regulations, Jazz at the Allendale, the series of charity concerts organised by Wimborne Rotary, has made a welcome return to the Allendale Centre in Wimborne.
Music was provided by Swing Unlimited Big Band (SUBB) who provided a wide-ranging programme of music and vocals including traditional classics and James Bond themes.
Although audience numbers were understandably down on the full capacity crowd seen in previous years there was no doubting the warm response of the audience, who generously contributed to a retiring collection in support of Rotary charities raising over £1270.
Organiser, Rotarian Darryl Reach said after the event: “We are planning to return next year and will be releasing details of our next concert as soon as they are finalised.”
