A contemporary take on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic horror Jekyll and Hyde is showing at the Shelley Theatre in Boscombe this week. The action has been transferred from the Victorian era to modern-day London, with the central character now criminologist Dr Harriet Jekyll. A recent spate of gruesome murders in Whitechapel has the doctor fascinated. Little does she realise her very close connection to the killer, one Edward Hyde.
Jekyll and Hyde is showing at the Shelley Theatre on the 12 and 13 December. For ticket enquiries, please visit www.shelleytheatre.co.uk or call: (01202) 413600.
