They took part in four performances involving over 120 students and watched by over 600 parents and members of the community. The show comprised a student band, first and middle school choirs and a full cast from both middle and upper schools. The colourful coat, Egyptian camel and pyramid were all built and designed by the students.
The part of Joseph was played by Charley Geer, a talented year 13 student who led the choirs in a medley of songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s well known musical. It was a real community project with a professional ‘West End’ flavour.
Those who helped make the show a success are: Nicci O’Connor (director), Nick Jarvis (musical director), Hannah Cope and Anne Hannwell (heads of choir), Richard Redwood and Cindy Lalani (producers) and all other staff involved.
