Sturminster Marshall has a new Platinum Jubilee Trail, which was opened at the weekend during the jubilee celebrations.
Wimborne town crier Chris Brown, along with other local dignitaries, opened the Sturminster Marshall Platinum Jubilee Trail in a village ceremony on Sunday 5 June.
The official opening was followed by a prize-winning treasure hunt around the trail for families and children.
The trail features a variety of buildings and sites of historical interest through the village which are marked by Jubilee Trail markers that feature an unique QR code.
It starts at St Mary’s Church and passes in a circular route through the village to include Trafalgar Green, Walnut Tree Field, Timber Green (Stocks Green), Charborough Green, Churchill Green and Maypole Green (Village Market Place).
